Oh, hi there! What a surprise seeing you here. This place is a little dusty and empty, isn’t it? Well, I have just put away all the existing posts to get a clean slate.
What can I say, I am an inconsistent and fickle being. Apart from when it comes to failing. I have no issues failing and I am one hell of a stubborn woman. This might explain why I’m still here despite failing to blog time and time again.
See, I like the idea of it. I see these beautifully crafted blogs with their airy whimsical pictures and I get envious. Of the time their creators have to blog. Of the perfect life they portray.
My inconsistent nature doesn’t make for a great blogger. I’m also not very good at carving out the required time from my schedule.
It started with a cooking blog that died relatively quickly. It was followed by a travel blog which fell into a deep sleep. I revived and reimagined it, to no avail. It inevitably extinguished itself as the country shut down due to the Covid pandemic. Of course, it would have taken quite a bit of resourcefulness to have a blog on travel when travel bans were enforced.
Finally, any revival of my blog in that form was shelved as I entered a new stage of my life – motherhood.
My husband, dear him, has kept it on the books even as I abandoned it time and again. He knows that I inevitably return.
So here I am, yet again. This will (most likely) no longer be a blog on travel, albeit travel will surely be a part of it. What will it be? I don’t know.
I’m not selling it so well, am I? Here is what I do know: I like stories. That is something I’m consistent with, so it’s probably what I will fall back on. As for the rest, why don’t we wait and see?
