I’m labeling the new crop of books for my little library. One by one, each books gets marked. Always free. Never for sale.
I hold the last one of the pile. Not this one.
While it is indeed a free book, it is not meant to remain in free libraries, bookshelves or exchange boxes. This one is a traveling book. It is meant for cafes, train stations and park benches. It started its recorded journey in Berlin and made its way to me with my guests from Mexico.
I follow the prompt and log its stop in my home before setting it free.
This book is not meant to stay here. No. This book is meant to see the world. Who knows, it might go where I cannot.
